Born in the aftermath of the 2026 Connecticut Tamil Sangam (CTTS) elections, myConnecticutTamilUravugal(myCTTU) is not a committee, a campaign, or a position of authority—it is a people’s movement. It emerged from collective reflection, shared experiences, and a growing realization that the strength of our Tamil community lies not only in elections or leadership terms, but in continuous engagement, dialogue, and responsibility. myCTTU was formed to serve as a unified voice for the Tamil community—one that listens, speaks up, supports, and guides with integrity and purpose.
Our Mission: CTTU is committed to serving the Tamil community across Connecticut with transparency, dedication, and a spirit of unity. As a constructive voice in the community, CTTU will:
- Focus on community service and grassroots initiatives
- Act as a responsible, accountable voice within the Tamil community
- Promote the Tamil language, culture, and heritage
- Support Tamil families through events, resources, and networking
